It was Whisper, our first boat from long ago in Michigan. It was wonderful to see that she was in good shape and had found a new life here in the islands.

I remember when you (Vince) got Whisper stuck in a sand bar in Muskegon Lake! We all believe for a moment you were going to have a heart attack! your mastery as a sailor got the boat unstuck, we were all relieved and impressed by your abilities.

aaah... Whisper. Who can forget such a boat? It got me, mark, and nicholas through our awkward years without being judgmental. I salute you, Whisper, and I salute you Dad and Maria, for finding it! That's just weird. It must have felt like seeing an ex-lover in an unexpected location with your new lover (literally).
