Above us, the bridges are humming with the cars and trucks of people who are living a normal life. They are dressed up, shopping, working, and returning to homes and neighborhoods. We are sailing under the bridge and a world away.

Your pictures are wonderful. From your journaling, your trip sounds perfect so far. We really like Beaufort. We were there about a week after you were there. We are thinking about buying a place about 15 minutes south. We are both enjoying your blog. Katherine
